Conference Attendance Grants

These grants
cover registration and/or hotel expenses at the annual IFLTA
Conference for pre-service teachers, teachers in the first five
years of teaching, and/or experienced teachers who are attending
the conference for the first time. Preference is given in each
case to first-time attendees. |

Applications
may be submited at any time.
These grants
of $50-$100 each are awarded for projects that promote language
teaching/learning. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis;
grants are limited to funds available and approval by the IFLTA
Board of Directors. |

Profile of Lorraine
A. Strasheim
Each year
IFLTA sponsors a competition for the Lorraine A. Strasheim Memorial
Scholarship which may offer as much as $1,500 to defray the
costs of summertime study and/or educational projects abroad.
IFLTA accepts submissions from individuals who have been IFLTA
members for three years.
